Did Nico yellow flag on purpose? Brundle & Co thought it was a genuine off, but other people think it could have been a tactic. Similar thing happened to Schumi a few years ago.

Intentional or not, Nice basically gave a big FUCK YOU to Lewis after the comments he made about him not being hungry enough to win. I'd allow it.

Schumacher's shtick was pretty obvious to me. Rosberg's off looked genuine to me - he looked to throw the car off-balance, carry too much speed and lock the right front after rounding the bump before Mirabeau. I would like to hear any radio conversation after Nico's error though, just out of curiosity.

It wasn't so much the off, it was how he handled it. If it was mid race I reckon he would have had it back on track without stopping dead

That is questionable but in Quali he'd want to be out of the way for fear of any impeding penalties. He wouldn't have any incentive to rush back on line and risk a reprimand because he wouldn't have had any opportunity for another lap anyway.

I guess we'll see if anything comes from it...
